what's up with the whole banning and censoring of the da vinci code?! it's a MOIVE. you know.. u pay 8.50 or 9.50 to watch a film made by some famous guy/girl in a dark room filled with many pple u don't know. and when u're in the cinema, u're SUPPOSED to SUSPEND BELIEF. for that 90 mins or so, u leave ur worries and concerns at the door and fall in love, cry, cringe, shiver with fear, tingle with excitement together with the lead characters of the movie. and for that 90 mins or so, you believe that you can be like them as well. entitled to a fairytale ending (which you are!) or have ur heart wrenched out.. and why censor?! when u know we can always get around it. besides, anyone who can use the internet, which is like 99.999999999 % of the world's population, (okie a bit kua zhang!). i'm willing to pay money to watch this movie because i wanna see how the actors bring out/portray the characters who have captured my attention in the book. esp the albino baddie.

the whole ruckus abt defaming christianity and whatever?! what the hell!?! it's just a bloody book. whether the facts are true or not, he wrote it to entertain and earn money. nothing wrong with that. the church asks for donations as well during service what.. so if pple's perceptions are skewed, then as christians, it is then ur responsibility to share and teach them abt christianity. isn't that part of what envangelism is abt? to spread the word and teachings of god (or something like that...) and if pple still choose to believe what was potrayed in the moive, then so be it. whatever happend to freedom of choice?!

and the 'albino baddie' (quote from the newpaper)? why can't albinos be bad? (because bad pple are supposed to be oozing with sex appeal? or just cos we think albinos are weird and hence weird pple are bad pple?!?!) must they all be weak and goodie two shoes who are friendless? isn't that a sterotype as well?! and then where wld we be if we didn't function on sterotypes? then the world wld be rampant with rapist, robbers and murderers. cos the police can't do their profiling, cos we don't like sterotypes. yah right! hypocrites! and the albino baddie isn't really all that bad at all. he's just extremely misguided.

i don't think the book is dan brown's way of defaming/insulting/*insert whatever word u think is relevant* the religion. cos there are always christians who bring down the good name of christianity. i think it's his way of entertaining the readers, trying to create some buzz in the world of books, earn money from the book AND movie, collect more fans (i don't think he really wants enemies... no one wants enemies in their lives).

okie i've run out of steam. this sounded so much better in my head when i was in the shower. much be the echo-istic nature of the shower. everything sounds good in there, even my bro's 'wonderful' and loud singing *inwardly cringes* toodles! and i'm not criticising the christian religion!
